Sustainable and ethical products are more expensive products by definition. Slave labor, environmental waste, property theft, use of deadly pesticides, use of unhealthy fillers and over-harvesting all happen because they keep the production costs down and are how our more affordable goods are produced.

So to fix those things, you have to start with fixing poverty. You can’t just tell all the poorest and hungriest people to start buying organic.
