I have read this comic and it is actually fantastic. 

Also “Avengers Vs. Pet Avengers” is an amazing comic about how the Avengers are fighting a shitload of dragons and the Pet Avengers have to stop them because the dragons are TRYING TO GET TO THEIR EGGS OK, and then there are baby dragons and it’s great.

Plus that one involves Frog Thor turning Bucky and Tony into frogs.

Tony does not accept being a frog with grace. 

So basically you can justify any fanfiction because something weirder, ie, this, has been written.

De-aged Avengers?

Hah!

They got turned into frogs in the comics.

Oh, they’ve also been deaged in canon. 

Thor also got canonically turned into a frog for a few issues in the mid-eighties, in a storyline that also alludes to the Classical parody, “Battle of the Frogs and Mice.”
