London-based architect and designer Umut Yamac has introduced the Perch Light which resembles an illuminated folded origami bird. It’s created using synthetic paper and the folded bird sways back and forth in realistic movements with even the most delicate of disturbances as the lamp is counterbalanced.

A lamp that swings wildly if you WALK PAST IT is not FUNCTION, a lamp that is SO NON-OPTIMIZED to light the maximum surface area is not FORM, I’m laughing so hard at “form and function”
