white feminism

Okay, this is such a good example of bullshit use of “white feminism” this is actually misogyny and also works to ignore that actual criticism of women of color talking about being disrespected during the women’s marches.

This person who made that comment (lesbiac) is white, the person I reblogged this from is white,  the problematic white feminist being attacked is a fucking child who is holding a sign referencing a children’s book, because she is a CHILD.  

The demonization of Emma Watson’s feminism was based on her bland statements about including men in feminism, whereas I’ve also seen white people insist that feminism that doesn’t include men is also problematically white….while swooning over the inter-sectional awesomeness of white male celebrities. 

So maybe let’s not take terms that are needed to talk about the experience of racism in social movements and use to mock first graders for not having hardcore enough feminist praxis.
