I am glad someone called her her on the carpet. She really needs to read her Bible. Most Christians do, truth be told. It is getting ugly with them these days.
This intolerance of others with whom you disagree is rampant these days. {sigh}
“While I support your right to make your feelings known, Elizabeth you
really need to pick up a history book,” another message read. “The fact
that you are able to own your own business is, in part due to some brave
women marching decades ago. I don’t know how old you are but, I
remember when you wouldn’t have been able to sign that lease without
your husband’s or father’s permission and signature. That business
credit card you probably have? Same deal. Also, pick up that Bible you
are thumping and actually read it. You obviously need a refresher on
what being a Christian truly means.”Best comments to the article:

“The
vulgarity, vile and evilness of this movement is absolutely
despicable.” Elizabeth Poe, the owner of the Franklin, Tennessee shop.
“As the owner of this business and a Christian, I have a duty to my
customers and my community to promote values of mutual respect, love,
compassion, understanding, and integrity.”Since
when is standing up for one’s rights “vulgar, vile and evil?” And if
she were a true “Christain” promoting values of “mutual respect, love,
compassion, understanding, and integrity” she would be in the FRONT of
the March, not condemning it. The March was a product of her
“Christian” president’s display of “vulgarity, vile and evilness.” It’s
b/c of his lack of mutual respect, lack of love, etc. Don’t worry

solidarity, we March for you too.Debbi Hatcher Ray · Aesthetics
before
going to a big box store, please try another locally owned yarn store.
Most towns have more than one and most cities have dozens. Or even
smaller online store. Not only is the yarn better quality but you’ll
help a small or medium sized businessShe
has a right to her opinion, and people have a right not to shop at her
store–especially since she specifically expressed she doesn’t want
certain people to shop there. I wish shop owners would post who they
don’t want to shop at their stores in their windows–a list of who they
don’t want or causes they don’t support. It would make supporting the
businesses we want to support so much easier, and avoid the ones we
don’t.

does this surprise anyone. Evangelicals and Catholics have been
embolden for decades to fear and hate all kinds of people. Keep that
Division going and you and everyone else will never find God. Remember
their motto ”Jesus loves some but not all“.I love how she waited until a few days AFTER the march to post this. Presumably, she was perfectly happy to take people’s money beforehand.
