A Tilberi is a creature from Icelandic folklore, created by witches to steal milk from neighbor’s cows and sheep. To create a Tilberi, one must steal a rib from a recently buried body and take wool from the shoulder of a widow’s sheep to wind around the rib. Then during the next three Sundays, they must take the communion wine in their mouth instead of swallowing it, then spit it on the bundle three times. The bundle will come to life and the witch can then send the Tilberi to suck milk from other’s livestock. It will return to the witch’s window and call out “Full Belly, Mummy!”, and then vomit the stolen milk into the witch’s butter churn.
