Titivillus

“I am a poor devil, and my name is Titivillus … I must, each day, bring my master a thousand pokes full of failings, and of negligences in syllables and words.”

First named in the 13th century, Titivillus was the patron demon of scribes, and worked on behalf of Satan to create spelling errors and messiness in manuscripts worked on by monks. He has also been accused of inciting idle chat in church services, and causing worshippers to mispronounce or mumble words as they recited their prayers.

@copperbadge

I’m totally distracted by the fact that there are patron demons of things as well, I need a directory of them RIGHT NOW

He has currently subverted autocorrect.
