Finally got around to seeing Song of The Sea tonight. Beauty. My wife and I now have a theory that all the vowels that Welsh didn’t want were scooped up by Gaelic. See “crwth” (crooth) and “Saoirse” (SEER-sha)

*snerk*

“Gaelic! Give Welsh back its vowels! How many times have we told you this? If you can’t play nice, we’re going to have to separate you 2.”
