The internal connector for my laptop’s power cord came loose just inside the case and too loose to be plugged in AT ALL and I was so afraid I’d have to spend money on repair because there seemed like barely anything I could do to keep it in place but a bit of glue which would never hold forever
Until I realized I could safely fill the gap it was moving into and wedge it in place
And I tried a bunch of different things but this wound up being the only thing the exact thickness:
