I feel like my video post of the waves on Lake Michigan has inspired a subtle and gently passive-aggressive argument in reblogs and comments about which of the Great Lakes is the most homicidal and dangerous, and it’s the most midwestern thing I’ve ever encountered in ten years of living in the Midwest.
