My moms birthday is this week and I really wanted to do a piece to show my appreciation. 

Its an Al Hirschfeld inspired piece. My mom played Clarinet since high school. She has a huge cookie tin full of medals. When I was in Junior high i took up saxophone but never really loved it as much as she did. I still find myself heavily inspired by music, though it doesn’t come from me.
