like it always reminds me that i don’t have the “right” body type for my political ideology. 

fatness is something associated with stupidity and bigotry, and so a lot of liberal comedians waste no time in picking on overweight/obese conservatives. 

so to see the former president of mexico being like “that diet coke isn’t working” or john oliver being “a light jog is a terrifying prospect to him” or will ferrell saying “eat a salad” just reminds me of how fatness is something that good people shouldn’t be. 

besides, it makes us no better than him. he fat shames women all the time, and for us to be stooping to his level is just irritating.
