Me: The entire internet was enamored of the Lego advent calendar you gave me.
Mum: I love advent calendars! You should be able to give them twice a year.
Me: What other holiday would you give them for?
Mum: Easter’s a nice holiday to count down to. All the little eggs and candies and stuff.
Stepdad: Yeah, but the lead-up to Easter is Lent.
Me: Oh lord, a Lent Calendar, the box behind every door would just be empty.
Mum: Here’s the non-cookie you can’t eat! Open Friday’s, there’s no meat in it!
