Eliminating an advisory board with no real authority isn’t the worst story this year, but to see Donald Trump disband the President’s HIV Council while at the same time prohibiting the CDC from “science based” language makes me very much fear that we will see a repeat of the 1980s with a callous leader shamelessly watching his citizens die. This latest news also makes me befuddled by disdain when I see members of the LGBT community still boosting Trump.
