Health insurance companies are literally the worst
I’ve also seen an anecdote about an insurance company who
made a major error when entering a client’s height in their database; entered
his weight accurately; and then refused to cover him because his apparent BMI
was so far off the charts. He had to go get a note from a doctor, because the company
wouldn’t accept that the likelihood of a typo was higher than the likelihood of
their client being under two feet tall.
