If gender neutral clothes are only made for and marketed to the parents of little girls, it is less a sign of gender equality and more an indication of the misogyny that is so ambient in our culture. Thshort hair, aere is such a devaluing of anything traditionally femininethat we’d rather chuck it out triumphantly than ever demean our boys with it.

Mediocre unisex kid clothing — everybody in tiny chinos and blue work shirts. Awesome unisex kid clothing — the kid I saw the other day in short hair, a hoodie, sweater-vest, shorts with a print of vegetables, knee socks with pictures of robots on them, and red shoes.
