I feel like there are things in this world that are so obvious that people are like, “Nah, we don’t need to make an official rule for that. No one is that stupid or morally corrupt.”
And then a few NY cops were like, “Hold my taser…”
For most people with a modicum of common sense, there is no need for rules with obnoxious specificity.
And yet lighter fluid and bleach have warning labels that say, “Hey dummies! Don’t drink this shit!”
In Baltimore, by law, you cannot take a lion into a movie theater. Which makes you wonder if there was some kind of epidemic of people riding their exotic beasts into the latest talkie. And while their giant feline roared down the aisle they genuinely thought, “I’m sure this is fine.”
And then there is the above nonsense. Apparently there were several cops arguing it was consensual sex with detainees to avoid punishment. In the end it required actual legislation to declare this act improper and easily punishable.

An extension for after you view a story so disheartening that you just want to give up. Just press the FIH button and see firemen saving a kitten.
