My favorite thing on Facebook is when a corporate sponsored account for a longstanding piece of media like The Muppets makes a post that’s just innocuous enough like Gonzo being stretched from Muppet Treasure Island with the caption “have a nice loooong weekend!” and then you go to the comments and there’s an older person with a profile picture of them grimacing on a patio with their comment saying

“Muppets, I don’t like what you’ve been doing these last few years. You’ve gotten too dirty. I saw an episode of that ABC show and I was disgusted! You need to get back to your roots and get Jim Henson to make another variety show! You have millions of fans who would watch this! I know it would be a good idea and I hope you take my advice. I like Miss Piggy”
