Oscar Isaac is only his VA, the design for Gomez Addams is based on the old comics and cartoons and is much “uglier” than other adaptations
This is a positive post not a call out, op is saying that we’re going to have a unconventionally un-Hollywood looking couple being portrayed as still being madly in love of screen and the people that are going to have a problem with that bc Gomez won’t look “handsome” will have to deal with that
THANK YOU! Gosh the amount of times I’ve had people get angry at me in the replies for this post. Yes I meant this in a positive way! I was talking about the actual character designs not the actors, and that it’s a very good thing for a movie to have characters that aren’t conventionally attractive be so in love with each other! Not to mention the Addams family are supposed to be all about defying conventions so making them be typically attractive feels like missing the point. Oscar Isaac is indeed a handsome man and i have nothing against him :0
