Almond Breeze undeclared MILK recall

zanabism:

ororosmunroe:

fortunesque:

Thousands of cartons of Vanilla Almond Breeze are under recall for containing undeclared milk. I don’t care what you think about vegans, nondairy milk, whatever…

This could kill people if word doesn’t get out fast enough.

Here’s a link to the recall.

It covers a lot of states:

Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin

Please share this. Dairy allergies can be fatal and many people with them choose to drink almond milk.

Since this new Trek show is going to follow up with Picard ~20 years after his last onscreen appearance, I have decided that the only thing I want as Picard’s post-TNG canon is a Trek version of “Murder, She Wrote.”

Like, Picard is retired in an idyllic French village, spending his time crocheting and organizing bunco groups, and every time someone new shows up in the town, they end up dead in the vineyard. Naturally Picard has to Poirot it up, and the climax of each episode happens in his living room, with everyone sitting in his doily-covered armchairs so he can monologue about who the murderer is.

Pretty much 100% of the time, the murderer is Q

Polish has two versions of “to get married” depending on whether you are marrying a man (wyjść za mąż) or a woman (ożenić się)

they are of course “meant” to be used by women and men respectively, and when someone mixes them up – which happens very often in common speech – it’s usually a matter of seconds before some smartass goes “haha, ożenić się, she’s a girl, what is she, a homo, you meant wyjść za mąż!”

same thing happened at the shop today, one local drunkard wanted to wish me all the best and that I marry well – and he said “ożenić się”

the second drunkard obviously started laughing “what, a woman! you meant-”

“and who are you to tell her what she can or cannot do, Heniek? She’ll want to marry a girl she’ll marry a girl!”

I have an urge to give him a beer on the house next time he’s here.

Have that beer, Heniek!

SPOILERS I really like the production design of this 1995 Glyndbourne Makropulos Affair. I do have to headcannon that the lead singer looks younger to the other characters than she does to the audience; but she’s doing a really interesting/creepy job of suddenly looking *even* older, depending on the angle and expression. I’m trying to decide if the costume designer deliberately made her look ironically younger in her last couple of scenes before death, mainly by virtue of abandoning the skull-hugging scarves and headpieces she wore in the first two acts. I do kind of wish she’d run off with the crazy old Count who seems to be one of the few people she still has human feelings for.

Come to think of it, Count Hauk-Šendorf looks slightly younger than Emila in this production, which has to be a deliberate artistic choice (they could have made him up to look seventy+, and usually do if the tenor singing him isn’t really that old) but is very weird, especially since the singer is doing a pretty convincing portrayal of dementia — you can see his memory shorting out every few minutes.
