don’t really eat tide pods

I hate when people say “it’s just a joke.” Usually because they are using it to justify something offensive.

But I’m going to have to invoke “it’s just a joke” about my tide pod post. I know not all kids are millennials. I know there isn’t an actual epidemic of people eating Tide pods. I suppose my joke was a failure if I have to explain it this much. But it was just a joke. I was trying to show that I had converted into a cranky old person yelling at the kids to get off my lawn. But I guess I didn’t make it jokey enough. My apologies.

I was just confused because I’d assumed all the posts about wishing to eat tide pods were joking, and then I worried that they weren’t.
