Good – One of my favourite fantasy/sf tropes is where somebody gets possessed, or infected with lycanthropy or nano bots, or something; and they never actually get cured they just learn to deal with it and use it as a superpower.
Less good – Lately I’ve been wanting wanting this to happen to me in RL.
