copperbadge:

whatdoyoumeanitsnotawesome mentioned you on a post “y’all keep complaining about your series finale, but bbc literally…”

@copperbadge omg sam in 1996 i was 12 and had no supervision and i was doing the EXACT SAME THING

Oh my god, this hit me right in my heart. 16 year old me wants to like, sideways-hug 12 year old you on the couch and order us a pizza.

Yeah. There we* are, just sitting there, wondering how the next season is going to look with so many cast members gone and Natalie now a vampire, since LaCroix is CLEARLY going to change Nick’s mind about letting her die, and then:

“No. You…are my closest friend.”

I was in grad school at the time, so my sleep schedule was fucked up anyway, but this was pretty much exactly my reaction to watching the series finale of Forever Knight.

What I’m taking from a lot of comments is that nobody knew it was the season finale, which kind of makes me feel better.

Forever Knight was SUCH a trip omg. Like for real if you told me it was actually written by real dead vampires on cocaine I would BELIEVE you because only someone high on blood and angel dust could come up with something that gloriously bizarre. I have no idea why we loved it so much but it was SO great.

I’m very tempted to rewatch it, because I remember almost nothing about it other than Nick buying big macs for some reason and LaCroix being a vampire radio DJ

I a little bit wanted to be LaCroix. He seemed like he had life fuckin’ figured out.

oh man, that and “THE ENDLESS….FOREVER…..NIIIIIGHT.”

Of all the filmed-in-Toronto shows made in that era, it was the one that admitted it was set in Toronto.
