I AM HERE FOR THIS PUN

I lived in Toronto 2009-2011 and this pun was around then, and it was my fave. I’m delighted to see it’s finally made it to the internet. 🙂

(To those not in the know, fromage = cheese. It’s a cross between cheese and formidable.)

Also, it’s knockoff Cheez-Whiz. The brand name is literally No Name. (You can tell by the yellow background and simple lettering.) It’s put out by Loblaws and mostly sold in their No Frills chain of discount supermarkets. (It was my local grocery store, and it was awesome, surprisingly enough.)

I’m not making these names up.

I love No Frills. It’s the cut-rate wing of the Loblaws chain, so you can get President’s Choice products at a lower cost. Also, at least in most Toronto neighbourhoods, they have a lot of imported soft drinks, including Ting.
