“Iras” bronze sculpture by Erté –The
piece depicts Erte’s costume design for Carmel Myers who played Iras,
the vamp, in the 1925 MGM production of Ben
Hur. The sculpture has a patina of light blue and white gold leaf. The
design was based on a gouache created in 1925 for the movie.
I so thought this was a Deco version of Storm.
