SO I learned something really cool from my Indian coworkers today.

There’s a legend from the 17th century where a military leader and his troops used domesticated Bengal monitors (ghorpad) to scale walls break into forts. They would tie ropes to the lizards and they would crawl up the wall and act as an anchor. 

This is disputed but I Want To Believe.
