TRUST ME
Google translate AIN’T SHIT with translating from english to spanish. So please, please, if you wanna spice up your stories with words on spanish you can answer me (an actual mexican) for the words and how they are used, because our “the” can be “el” (masculine) “la” (feminine) los (plural neutral/masculine) las (plural feminine) and some words aren’t that common here as they are on other countries.
(Also about cultural notes -specially about religion and history-, you can still ask me, I’m stil confused of how someone could confuse La Muerte/La Catrina from Book of Life with La Santa Muerte -which, BTW isn’t a saint or at least not recognized by the Catholic Church, it’s more related with black witchcraft than anything- when the answer to don’t do that was simply to ask a mexican about that…just posting about needing help)
We’ve been saying this since day 1 (day 1 as the day when the movie premiered on the States), so please, pleeeeeaaaase, take this advice at heart. I would like to read more fanfics on english wht accurate depictions or words. If we can take our time to check our grammar, so can you.
@uncuentofriki has given me great pointers in the past for my fics, take advantage of her offer!!
