I was on the phone to eBay about something this morning, and liked the hold music I heard during one transfer. Googling the lyrics, I found the song, but the first link that showed up is below, and seems to have been posted by someone with an eBay gripe. At least one comment is by someone else who heard the song as hold music and went looking. So, far as I can tell, Irma Kooper released this number ten years ago and it never got any airplay, but people have been discovering it through the medium of eBay complaints-department hold music ever since.
