In canon Obi-Wan Kenobi:
– is considered highly charming
– has impeccable manners
– never outright lies but frequently misleads
– takes his promises seriously
– (technically) stole babies…
– …and gave one to a lonely royal couple who wanted children of their own…
-… and the other to a poor but honest farmer and his wife
Hypothesis: Obi-Wan is a fey.
Further supporting arguments: Obi-Wan appears to dislike armour, and flying, both of which involve close or extended contact with potentially iron rich metal. While in hiding he still couldn’t shed all of his true name (Kenobi). No one would notice a changeling in the creche and smol Obi WAS very angry…
And oh the ideas.
An Obi-Wan who doesn’t know what he is still abiding by the traditional rules and being really confused about it all…
One who does confronting Palpatine in a furious rage because he has first claim on Anakin’s soul…

Can you believe we live in a society where people are kissing Elsa’s ass and viewing her as a great big sister despite neglecting Anna through their whole ass childhood just cause she has the ability to make fucking freezer ice cubes while Nani, a dedicated brown woman who despite lost her parents by a lethal storm had to push her grief aside because Lilo was now her main priority, took care of her, fed her, probably paid money for her hula classes, busted her ass at her job to financially support Lilo, busted her ass to emotionally support Lilo, supported Lilo’s photography talent even though Lilo’s theme was a little weird, got her a dog and even during moments where Nani hit was hitting rock bottom (ex: getting fired but didn’t put her frustration out on Lilo) she did whatever it took to keep her little sister from being taken away, and wanted nothing but happiness and safety for her.

a lot of the difference between people who like slam poetry and people who hate slam poetry is comprised of whether you’ve heard slam poetry used constructively as a platform for the voices of the oppressed and those who would otherwise not have ways to express their emotions, or, alternatively, just heard it used by boring untalented white dudes who want a license to complain about how Smartphones Are Literally The Devil

The one poetry slam I can recall going to included a guy
telling a story about finding two buttons with now pictures or words on them
and giving one to his girlfriend, so that was kind of sweet.
i think for me the most unrealistic part of superhero shows and movies is that there aren’t like a bunch of Jewish people ruining the day for the villains.

A Virginia mother who placed a recording device in her 9-year-old daughter’s backpack to help prove to school officials that she was being bullied has been charged by police with a felony.
Local news station WAVY reports that Norfolk resident Sarah Sims grew fed up with her local elementary school’s failure to take action to prevent her daughter from being bullied. To put the school’s feet to the fire, she planted a recorder in her daughter’s backpack to show them direct evidence that she was a victim of a bullying campaign.
However, when the school found the recorder and then moved her daughter to a different classroom.
What surprised her even more, says tells WAVY, is that she was subsequently charged with a felony.Specifically, WAVY says police charged Sims with “use of device to intercept oral communication and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor,” which could carry up to five years in prison.
